175 East is a contemporary music ensemble that presented concerts of exploratory music around New Zealand from 1996–2014. Founded by James Gardner, and later directed by Samuel Holloway, the ensemble performed numerous world and New Zealand premières, with over 50 pieces specifically written for it.
